E-commerce store owners face challenges like manual workflows, cluttered interfaces, and limited actionable insights. These inefficiencies lead to errors, wasted time, and frustration. Craftopolis aims to simplify these processes, ensuring smoother and more efficient business operations.

Too many features made the platform confusing and hard to use.

Key Insights
To understand what beginners really needed, we ran user interviews, studied competing apps, and audited the onboarding flows of top trading platforms. Each method brought us closer to the gaps we wanted to fill. The insights we gathered became the foundation for every decision we made going forward from layouts to micro-interactions.

Users can update statuses like shipped or completed directly from the dashboard. This single-screen solution eliminates navigation hassles, reduces repetitive tasks, and saves time—allowing store owners to focus on growth.

Iterations
The initial order management design mirrored common market tools with separate tabs and multiple screens for actions. While functional, it felt cumbersome and time-consuming. After analyzing workflows, I refined it into a Single-Screen solution, enabling users to view details and update statuses in one click. This iteration reflects Craftopolis’s mission to simplify processes and empower store owners.
Design System
Reusable components are the secret sauce for consistent and scalable design. From buttons to cards and input fields, these building blocks ensured a seamless user experience while speeding up iterations and simplifying workflows. They form the foundation of Craftopolis, making every screen cohesive and intuitive.
Working on Craftopolis taught me the importance of information hierarchy, optimizing workflows, and design systems. In SaaS platforms, structuring information clearly is key to guiding users effectively. I learned to rethink workflows, removing unnecessary steps rather than blindly following patterns. Lastly, I understood how design systems simplify iterations and ensure consistency, making them essential for scalable design.
